Man taken to hospital after police cordon road

Emergency services were called to Knyveton Road in Bournemouth[1] at 5.55pm on Thursday, February 8 after a man was found injured. Dorset Police said he did not sustain any serious injuries but was treated by the ambulance service. South Western Ambulance has now confirmed the man was taken to Poole[2] Hospital for further treatment.

A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 17:49hrs on Thursday 8 February to an incident in Bournemouth. “We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Poole Hospital.” A spokesperson for Dorset Police said: “We received a report at 5.55pm of a man requiring medical attention in Knyveton Road in Bournemouth.

“Officers attended and the man was treated by the ambulance service.

“He is not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.

“Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are ongoing.”
