Police issue update after man seriously injured in motorbike crash

The incident in Northam Road, Southampton. (Image: Jose Ramos) Police have issued an update after a man was seriously injured in a crash. Thousands of Saints fans were heading to St Mary’s Stadium when the incident happened opposite the Esso petrol station on Northam Road, Southampton[1].

Inititally police said only minor injuries were involved – but did not specify to who or the nature of the injuries.
