Schoolboy breaks arm in crash with car on crossing
The teenager was hit at a traffic light-controlled crossing on Wiltshire Road at around 8.25am on Thursday, February 1. Police said a black Nissan Micra and a pedestrian were involved in a collision. The boy suffered a broken arm and required hospital treatment.
He has since been discharged. Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and asking people to come forward with dash-cam footage. Investigating officer, PC Thomas Dickinson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Additionally, we’d ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around the time of the incident to check footage in case they may have captured something that could help our investigation.
