Two cars stolen during Cotswolds house burglary plus Gloucester flat invaded by thieves
A home in the Cotswolds[1] was raided in the early hours while two men forced their way into a flat in Gloucester. Both incidents have prompted a warning and appeal for information from police.
In the first incident, a house was broken into in North Cerney and two cars were stolen, as well as trophies. The incident happened on Saturday (February 10) when CCTV saw three men arriving in a dark estate vehicle at 4.17am.
After getting in to the house, they took keys and stolen two cars. Other items stolen were two silver ornate trophies (35cm) with horses protruding off them, a fox hound hunting trophy engraved with names and two silver pheasants.
Two of the males were seen entering the house, the other waited outside, police said in the Community Alert.[4] Gloves and masks were not worn.
The two males were then seen leave the property with the items. One of them drove off in one car the other drove off in the other car.
Police believe the third man drove off in the car they arrived in. Anyone with information can contact police quoting incident number 111 of the 10/02/24.
In the other unrelated incident, two men forced their way into a flat in Eastgate Street, Gloucester,[5] and stole money from the person inside on Sunday, February 11 at 11.56pm. The men were described as 18-19 years old wearing hoodies and scarves – one of these men spoke Polish. Incident 409
