Two lanes closed on M25 clockwise after crash near Dartford

An accident involving a lorry and car on the M25 caused delays for drivers this morning.

The crash resulted in two lanes in the clockwise direction being closed between J4 for Orpington and J5 for the M26/A21 at Sevenoaks.

Traffic is queuing on the clockwise carriageway of the M25

The road has since reopened and delays had cleared by 8am.

There are no details yet of any injuries.

In the aftermath, long delays were reported, with queues back to J2 at Dartford at one point.
