A38 crash: Man rushed to hospital with head injury after car and lorry collision
A man was rushed to hospital with a head injury following a crash in Plymouth this morning (March 4). Officers from Devon and Cornwall Police[1] were called to the A38 between Deep Lane and Marsh Mills at 10.55am.
The crash reportedly took place on the westbound carriageway and involved a car and a lorry. Police said the male passenger of the car was taken to hospital by ambulance.
At the time of writing (1pm), two lanes remain closed on the westbound carriageway. Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at 10.55am today, 4 March, following a collision between a car and a lorry on the A38[2] westbound between Deep Lane and Marsh Mills, Plymouth.
“The male passenger from the car sustained a head injury. He was taken to hospital by ambulance. Two lanes are closed. All ongoing at the scene.”
