Cyclist rushed to hospital after van crash in Bristol
A cyclist was rushed to hospital after a crash with a van in Bristol[1] this morning (March 19). Emergency services were called to the A432 Fishponds Road at 8.10am.
The road was closed in both directions[2] following the crash. It reopened by around 9.25am and traffic soon returned to normal.
Avon and Somerset Police[3] said: “We were called by the ambulance service to a collision between a bike and a van in Fishponds Road, Bristol, at 8.10am this morning (Tuesday 19 March).
“The cyclist has been taken to hospital by paramedics. The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene but was reopened at about 9.25am.”
