Police are hunting a Lamborghini Huracán driver who crashed their £250,000 supercar into barriers before running away on foot.
The reckless driver crashed the white sports car after failing to stop for officers.
Derbyshire Police said the car - which has a top speed of 201.9mph - span off the road and ploughed into barriers near Chesterfield at the weekend.
Pictures posted on X show the buckled remains of the Italian motor which crashed at such force the rear tyre was ripped off.

'Despite acceleration of 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds the power far outweighed the talent and it stopped as quickly.
'Driver made off but we will be catching up with them soon!'
Social media users expressed their sorrow at the photos of the wrecked car, posting 'that poor car' and 'that'll be expensive to repair'.
Two people have been arrested - both in their 20s - for the crash.
In a statement, a spokesman said: 'Two people have been arrested on suspicion of driving offences after a collision in Chesterfield.
'Officers followed the vehicle at a safe distance but it was involved in a single-vehicle collision on the A617 shortly afterwards.
'A woman in her 20s was arrested at the scene and a man in his 20s was arrested soon after. Both have been bailed pending further enquiries.'
It's not the first time an expensive car has been crippled by its driver.
In August 2023, nine supercars worth millions of pounds including an Aston Martin, Lamborghini and BMW were seen lying on the side of a dual carriageway after a transporter carrying them toppled over.
Police raced to the side of the A20 near Farningham, Kent, on Wednesday evening after reports that the transporter carrying the luxury motors had overturned.
Officers attended the scene near Brands Hatch where the vehicle, which still had its headlights blaring, was seen sprawled out across the road, with its trailer on one side and the head of the truck on another.
Amazingly the driver of the transporter only picked up a minor injury, while the cars, which included those manufactured by Mercedes, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and BMW were left significantly worse for wear.
One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, said that the cars are thought to be used to provide driving experiences at a racing circuit. The vehicles themselves are believed to be worth many thousands of pounds each.
One of the cars that were seen on the trailer include a red Lamborghini Huracan, which has a recommended retail price of upwards of £150,000.
It can reach speeds of 201mph and can go from 0-60mph in around three seconds.
Another car that can also be seen among the carnage is a black Jaguar F-Type. These cars are listed on Jaguar's website for £62,000, with more expensive models priced at up to £108,000.
An Aston Martin DB11 is also seen tipped on its side on the back of the trailer, which have an RRP starting from £152,000, according to British car magazine Autocar.
