Live updates as Cambridgeshire A-road blocked after crash
A rural Cambridgeshire A-road is blocked this morning (March 5) following a crash between a tractor and a van. The A142 Iretons Way northbound is currently facing long delays between Engine Bank (Mepal) and Langwood Hill Drove ( Chatteris[1] ).
The fire service have said that a person had to be cut from a tractor. The nature of their injuries is not yet know. The incident was first reported to traffic monitoring site, Inrix just before 7am this morning (March 5).
A map of the area is showing delays in both directions on the road between Chatteris and Sutton, with an estimated delay of 16 minutes and increasing.
