Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire Apr 1-7, including busy Beverley route

A busy route in and out of Beverley will be visited by the mobile speed camera van in the coming days.

Speeds will be monitored on the A1079 at Bishop Burton in the week ahead. Enforcement officers will also be visiting a number of other rural routes.

Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[1]. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region.

Humberside Police[2], in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed below. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time..

Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Hull and East Yorkshire areas:

  • MON April 1: Sites across the region
  • TUE April 2: A1079 Shiptonthorpe to Thorpe Le Street
  • WED April 3: Market Weighton Road/Cliffe Road, between North Cliffe and South Cliffe
  • THU April 4: A1079 Bishop Burton; B1248 between Rootas Lane and Bainton
  • FRI April 5: Londesborough Road, Market Weighton
  • SAT April 6: Sites across the region
  • SUN April 7: Sites across the region

For those crossing the Humber Bridge[3] to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:

  • MON April 1: Sites across the region
  • TUE April 2: A1029 Brigg Road, Scunthorpe
  • WED April 3: A46 Laceby Road, Grimsby
  • FRI April 5: B1206 Redbourne Mere, Kirton in Lindsey
  • SAT April 6: Sites across the region
  • SUN April 7: Sites across the region
