Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire Mar 3-10, including three busy city routes
Speeds will be monitored on three busy routes in and around Hull in the coming days.
Mobile speed camera vans will be stationed in Anlaby Road[1], Stoneferry Road and Boothferry Road, Hessle[2], on dates over the next week. A number of other routes will be visited by enforcement officers, including the A1079 and the B1253 near Bridlington[3].
Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[4]. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region.
Humberside Police[5], in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed below. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time..
Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Hull and East Yorkshire areas:
- SUN Mar 3: Sites across the region.
- MON Mar 4: A1165 Stoneferry Road, Hull.
- TUE Mar 5: B1253 between Octon Crossroads and Rudston.
- WED Mar 6: A1079 at Shiptonthorpe.
- THU Mar 7: B1231 Anlaby Road, Hull.
- FRI Mar 8: A1105 Boothferry Road, Hessle.
- SAT Mar 9: Sites across the region.
- SUN Mar 10: Sites across the region.
For those crossing the Humber Bridge[6] to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:
- SUN Mar 3: Sites across the region.
- MON Mar 4: A18 at Althorpe.
- TUE Mar 5: B1206 Wold Road, Barrow.
- WED Mar 6: Cromwell Road, Grimsby.
- THU Mar 7: A46 Weelsby Road, Grimsby.
- FRI Mar 8: Queensway, Scunthorpe.
- SAT Mar 9: Sites across the region.
- SUN Mar 10: Sites across the region.
