Mum’s emotional tribute to ‘cheeky and fun loving’ teenage son who died in Hereford crash

The mother of a young man who died in a crash in Hereford[1] has paid tribute to her “cheeky and fun loving” son. Kallum Wilkes, 18, passed away following a collision on the A44 on Tuesday, February 27.

West Mercia Police were called to the collision, which involved a motorbike, a white ford transit van and a grey Audi A6, in Monkland at around 9.50am. Sadly, the rider of the motorbike – Kallum – was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kallum’s mother has now paid tribute to him. She said his family’s life will never be the same again.

She said in a tribute: “With hearts that are broken, we lost our beloved and cheeky son/brother in a tragic accident on the 27 February on the A44. Our lives will never be the same. We have lost the most cheeky and fun loving person.

“We give our heartfelt thanks to everyone for their condolences, support and kind words and the generosity from near and far to help us prepare the perfect send off for Kallum.
