The M40 southbound in Buckinghamshire remains closed after a funfair lorry ended up on its side, causing miles of queues.

Drivers have been warned of long delays[1] between junctions five, for Stokenchurch, and four, for High Wycombe, by National Highways.

Two out of three lanes were also closed on the northbound side, between junctions three and four, after a car crashed into a central reservation.

Emergency services were at the scene.
