Three-vehicle smash shuts key Cheshire road

A key Cheshire road was closed After two cars and a van collided. The crash happened on the A51 Nantwich[1] Road between Tarporley[2] and Tilstone Fearnall before 8.35am Monday morning (March 11).

Police were called to the scene, at Four Lane Ends, and found a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, a black Volvo V90 and a blue Volkswagen Transporter van had collided. There were no reports of any injuries, police said.

The road reopened around 11am. A Cheshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Police were called to reports of a collision at Four Lane Ends, near Tarporley.

“Officers attended and found the collision involved a blue Volkswagen T-Roc, a black Volvo V90 and a blue Volkswagen Transporter. There are no reports of any serious injuries, but the road has been closed while officers deal with the incident.”
