The A14 has reopened eastbound following a serious crash involving a lorry.
The road was closed in both directions between junctions 43 and 44 in Bury St Edmunds following the crash.
Shortly after 7.15am on Monday (April 15), the A14 reopened eastbound between J43 and J44.
The westbound carriageway will remain closed while Suffolk Police carry out investigation works.
A detour is in operation and traffic delays are expected around the town.
The spokesman said: “The road is likely to be closed for some time”.
