A5 crash closes roundabout between Oswestry and Gobowen
Drivers are being warned of disruption this afternoon (Sunday, April 7) following the crash at the Five Crosses Roundabout.
Emergency services including police and firefighters from Shropshire and North Wales are at the scene of the collision.
A vet is also helping any injured animals involved in the crash after the lorry overturned earlier today.
Shropshire Fire Service said an operations officer and five appliances from Baschurch, Ellesmere and Wellington were deployed to the incident after receiving an emergency call-out at 12.22pm.
Police informed motorists about the road closure said shortly before 1.15pm.
West Mercia Police has urged people who are planning on travelling along this section of road to find alternative routes.
Traffic monitoring website Inrix said: "A5 Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident at B5069 (South Gobowen / Hospital Roundabout)."
