‘Bundle of fun’ – Tributes pour in for Lisa, 52, killed on M6
Friends have led tributes to a mum-of-three killed in a M6 crash. Gran-to-be Lisa Kelsall, from Norton, was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision on a M6/M62 slip-road in Cheshire in the early hours of Tuesday.
Cheshire Police are still attempting to piece together the 52-year-old’s last-known movements after she joined the M6 in Staffordshire. The 47-year-old driver of a white Citroen Relay van has been arrested and bailed on suspicion of causing Lisa’s death by dangerous driving.
Now hundreds of StokeonTrentLive readers have paid tribute to the Travelodge worker.
Danniele Dutton said: “You always lightened up everyone’s day with your infectious smile and laughter, you had a heart of gold, always helping others. I’m going to miss you so much, not just me but my children too. You have been taken way too soon away from us all and more importantly your three beautiful children.”
Bunty Swingewood said: “Lisa was a lovely person and always a bundle of fun who will be sadly missed by everyone.”
Jude Holmes said: “My beautiful friend. You are going to be so missed by everyone who got the pleasure to know you.”
Andrea Trevor added: “I’m absolutely devastated for Lisa and her family. She was the life and soul of everything. A potty mouth, with an infectious laugh, and said everything as it is.”
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses following the tragedy. It is thought that Lisa’s white Vauxhall Mokka car joined the M6 northbound in Staffordshire at around 11.30pm on Monday, April 8. Police were called to the slip-road – between junctions 21 and 21A – at 12.15am on April 9.
Anyone with any information about Lisa’s last-known movements should call the police on 101, quoting incident number 1796179, or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
