Five-year-old fights for life after M67 crash

A five-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a crash involving a car and a lorry on a motorway.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the boy and a 38-year-old woman who were travelling in a Vauxhall Astra were taken to hospital after the crash on the M67 eastbound at about 14:45 BST on Monday.
GMP said the child’s injuries were "life-threatening". The woman's injuries were described as "non life-threatening".
A 39-year-old lorry driver was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
