Injured driver in hospital after lorry crashes off B4215
A driver has been injured after their lorry crashed off a rural road in Gloucestershire on Saturday (April 6). The incident happened on the B4215[1] between Newent and Dymock at around 10.20am.
The road was closed into afternoon as emergency services worked at the scene. The drivers was treated by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
Gloucestershire police said their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. The road was reopened a little over two hours after the cash.
Gloucestershire police said on X, formerly twitter: “Police are currently with a vehicle that has left the road on the B4215 between Newent and Dymock. The driver of this vehicle has suffered injuries that require assessment at hospital, however not deemed to be life threatening.”
Earlier, officers had advised motorists to avoid the route. They said the lorry had left the road near Dymock.
