Live: Cotswolds road closed after woman seriously injured in crash
A woman has suffered suspected serious injuries after a crash in a Cotswolds town this afternoon (April 5). The A361 Burford Street in Lechlade has been closed by Gloucestershire Police following a collision after a pedestrian was struck by a car.
The force said in an update that an elderly woman is being assessed by paramedics and has suffered what are believed to be serious injuries. Drivers have been asked to avoid the area.
The road is closed from Burford to Lechlade, and Lechlade to Fairford while emergency services are at the scene. Anyone who has information relating to the crash has been asked to contact Gloucestershire Police by completing the following online form[1] quoting incident 150 of 5 April.
