Live: Crownhill Road in Plymouth closed by crash as drivers urged to avoid area

A road has been closed in Plymouth following a crash this afternoon (April 17). According to Plymouth Highways, Crownhill Road, located in the Honicknowle area of the city, is closed heading eastbound.

The closure is reportedly in place near Transit Way. Motorists have been urged to avoid the area while the road remains closed.

Plymouth Highways said in a post on X at 12.06pm: “Crownhill Road is closed due to an RTC, eastbound just after Transit way. Please avoid the area.”

An eyewitness told PlymouthLive: “accident happened in near Transit Way signal, two car(s) and one van.”
