Llandudno Junction: Man arrested after emergency services called to crash
A man has been arrested after a crash involving a car, van and stationery vehicle in Conwy[1] last night. It happened on the A547 Conway Road, Llandudno Junction[2], which was closed.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were called to the scene. A North Wales Police[3] spokesperson said: “We received a call at 9.36pm last night (Thursday) reporting a RTC on the A547 Conway Road, Llandudno[4] Junction.
“The incident involved a car, a van and a stationary vehicle. The road was closed whilst emergency service colleagues from Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS[5] Trust and North Wales Fire and Rescue attended alongside officers from the Roads Crime Unit.
“One man has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of various driving offences and has been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue.” North Wales Fire and Rescue Service[8] confirmed it sent two engines to the scene, from Llandudno and Colwyn Bay[9], and helped extricate a person from a vehicle.
There were no details on any injuries in the collision. The Welsh Ambulance Service was approached for information.
