Man arrested after three-vehicle crash in Llandudno Junction

Emergency services attended the incident, on the A547 Conway Road, shortly after 9.30pm.

The crash involved a car, a van and a stationary vehicle.

The road was closed for several hours, and only opened at around 4am this morning (April 5).

A man was arrested on suspicion of various driving offences, and has since been released with an investigation underway.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We received a call at 9.36pm last night (Thursday) reporting a RTC on the A547 Conway Road, Llandudno Junction.

"The incident involved a car, a van and a stationary vehicle.

"The road was closed whilst emergency service colleagues from Welsh Ambulance Services University NHS Trust and North Wales Fire and Rescue attended alongside officers from the Roads Crime Unit.

"One man has subsequently been arrested on suspicion of various driving offences and has been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue." 

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service reportedly helped extricate a person from a vehicle.

The fire service and Welsh Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
