Man dies after horror crash on A40 between lorry and pedestrian as Air Ambulance rushed to scene

A man has died after being hit by a lorry in west London. The pedestrian was killed after the collision happened on Western Avenue yesterday afternoon, April 11.

The incident in Park Royal was on the major A40 road through the area. The lorry hit the man on the busy road at about 4.15pm. London Ambulance Service^[1] called the Met ^[2]to the scene and despite the efforts of the emergency services the man died at the scene.

Road closures were in place yesterday after the incident and there were long delays. Several buses ^[3]were diverted as police ^[4]dealt with the collision.
