Man dies following A38 lorry crash in Devon
A man has died after sustaining life-threatening injuries in a crash on the A38. A 51-year-old man was taken to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth[1] after a serious lorry crash on the A38, Deep Lane on Wednesday, March 27[2], but has since died.
Police were alerted to reports of a serious crash on the A38 at 8.05pm on March 27. A blue Vauxhall Corsa and a MAN lorry crashed on the westbound carriageway of the A38 at Deep Lane, Plymouth.
A man sustained life-threatening injuries following the crash and was taken to hospital. Sadly, he has since died. His next of kin have been made aware.
The A38 was partially closed for five hours as crews investigated the scene. Officers are still appealing for witnesses to come forwards.
