Mobile speed cameras locations in North Staffordshire this week including Fenton and Burslem

Five of the the six Stoke-on-Trent towns will be among the areas visited by mobile camera vans in the coming days. Drivers’ speeds will be monitored on roads across Stoke, Fenton, Longton, Burslem and Tunstall.

The vans will also be stationed on other routes across Potteries and Staffordshire week ahead as part of their efforts to reduce crashes.

Staffordshire Police[1] are sharing the location of its speed vans for the third week in a row as part of its Look Again campaign. They support the fixed camera network across the county, and could turn up at other locations too during the week.

A force spokesman said: “We’re sharing the locations of Staffordshire’s safety camera vans again this week to support the #LookAgain[4] campaign. to encourage all drivers to think about their speed on the road.

“If you are travelling within the speed limit they will not affect your journey. The aim of the vans are to encourage those that choose to speed to slow down and help keep the roads safe for everyone.

“Although many road users drive safely within the limits, some travel considerably faster, risking the safety of themselves and other road users. Travelling above the speed limit adds extra risk to your journey as it increases the risk of serious injury or death in the event of a collision.
