Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash with lorry on Cambridgeshire A-road

A motorcyclist has been left seriously injured after a crash on a Cambridgeshire[1] road on Tuesday (April 16). The crash on the A141 involved a lorry and a motorcycle.

Police officers and paramedics attended the scene near the Tesco[2] at Abbots Ripton. The road was closed for about four hours between 5.30pm and 9.30pm.

A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 5.31pm yesterday with reports of a collision between a lorry and a motorcyclist on the A141. Officers attended, together with paramedics, and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“The road had re-opened by 9.30pm. Anyone with any information regarding the collision, including dashcam footage, is urged to call 101 quoting incident 343 of 16 April.”
