Suffolk man pleads guilty to speeding by Dartford Tunnel

A Lowestoft man has been convicted of speeding on the Dartford Tunnel approach road outside London.

Leigh Blue Hussey, 36, of Grayson Avenue, Lowestoft, pleaded guilty to driving at 58mph in a 50mph zone on the A282 last April.

His Ford vehicle was caught by an automatic camera.

At Medway Magistrates’ Court Hussey was fined £148, plus a surcharge to fund victim services of £59 and £90 in costs.

He was also given three penalty points on his licence.

The A282 Dartford Tunnel Approach speed camera was among the top 10 most triggered locations nationally in 2022, according to Confused.com.
