Young woman charged after two die in A303 horror crash

A woman is set to appear in court today, Wednesday, April 3, charged with careless driving offences following a fatal crash last year[1]. Two people were killed following the two-vehicle crash on the A303 at Camel Hill[2].

Jessica Higgs, 20, faces two charges of causing death by driving without due care while over the drug limit[3] for a specific controlled substance.

On Monday, May 15, of last year, emergency services were called to a serious crash[4] after a car and a van collided. Tony Mist, who was driving a Fiat 500, and passenger Thelma Huse, both aged 69 sadly died of their injuries.

Higgs, from Warminster, is scheduled to appear at Yeovil Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 3 April.
