Instructor and pupil’s ‘lucky escape’ in hit-and-run

A driving instructor is in hospital and her pupil has suffered whiplash and severe bruising after their car was involved in a hit-and-run crash.
The car was hit by a van driving on the opposite side of road on the A47 Acle Straight, near Great Yarmouth, Norfolk.
According to Nxt Gen driving school, the driver suffered a spinal fracture.
Claire Wyatt said the pupil was "lucky to escape quite unscathed, really".
