A North Wales Police[1] statement said: "We were called at 8.31am reporting a single vehicle RTC involving a HGV on the A5 near Cerrigydrudion which had left the road and come to rest on its side. The road was closed until mid afternoon whilst the HGV and its load had been recovered, and the road cleared of debris."
