Man suffers life-changing injuries after A14 crash

A man has been left with potentially life-changing injuries following a crash on the A14 in mid Suffolk

Emergency services were called to the collision near junction 49 for Haughley shortly after 10.25am on Thursday.

The vehicles involved in the collision were are Mercedes-Benz Sprinter box van and DAF truck.

The carriageway was closed ^[1] in both directions for some time, with the eastbound carriageway reopening at 1.45pm.

The road fully reopened by 6.15pm.
