Mobile speed cameras in Hull and East Yorkshire May 5 – 12

A number of East Riding villages will be visited by the speed camera van this week.

Enforcement officers will be in Roos, Kirkburn, Peston and Bainton.

Drivers can see where the mobile cameras are likely to be situated through the daily enforcement schedule on the Safer Roads Humber website[1]. However, not all locations are listed on the schedule, so motorists should take care and exercise caution when driving in the region.

Humberside Police[2], in partnership with Safer Roads Humber, will be at several other sites throughout the week that are not listed below. Humberside Police reserves the right to enforce speed limits on any road, at any time..

Mobile speed cameras will be in the following locations in Hull and East Yorkshire areas:

  • MON May 6: Various sites across the region
  • TUE May 7: B1240 Sproatley Road, Preston
  • WED May 8: A614 Kirkburn (50mph)
  • THU May 9: A614 Bainton (30mph)
  • FRI May 10 : B1242 Main Street, Roos
  • SAT April 27: Various sites across the region
  • For those crossing the Humber Bridge[3] to the South Bank, mobile cameras will be in the following locations:

  • MON May 6: Various sites across the region
  • TUE May 7: A161 Station Road, Graizelound
  • WED May 8: A180 Cleethorpe Road between Lockhill roundabout and Riby Square
  • THURS May 9: Taylor's Avenue, Cleethorpes
  • FRI May 10: Scotter Road, north of the viaduct, Scunthorpe
  • SAT May 11: Various sites across the region
  • SUN May 12: Various sites across the region
