Motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after A49 crash

Heavy traffic built up around the area between the A44 Mill Street and B4362 Station Road junctions.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said it attended to three patients after being called to the incident.

The motorcyclist was given advanced trauma care before being taken by air ambulance to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, a spokesperson said.

The van driver and passenger were taken to Hereford County Hospital by ambulance for assessment, they added.
