Pedestrian dies after being hit by a car and van
A man has died after he was struck by two vehicles on Sunday.
The crash took place on the A69 in Haltwhistle, Northumberland, at about 23:35 BST.
A pedestrian, a man in his 50s, died at the scene in what police described as a “devastating incident”.
A spokesperson for Northumbria Police said: “For reasons yet to be established, a grey Audi A1 and a white Ford transit van have struck the male pedestrian on the road.”
