Police at the scene of collision between bus and campervan on A39
A PERSON has been taken to hospital after a collision between a bus and a campervan on the A39.
The collision took place this morning in Carhampton at around 10.20am.
Avon and Somerset Police are still at the scene to support the recovery of the vehicle.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly after 10.20am this morning to a report of a collision between a bus and a campervan on the A39 in Carhampton.
“Officers attended, alongside colleagues from the ambulance service, and they remain at the scene supporting the recovery of the vehicles.”
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) said: “We were called at 10:24hrs on Monday 13 May to a road traffic incident near to Minehead[1].
“We sent one double-crewed land ambulance to the scene and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Musgrove Park Hospital.”
