Police name woman killed after two-vehicle A9 crash
A woman who died after her car was involved in a crash with a van on the A9 in the Highlands has been named by police.
Morven Gordon, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, which happened at Slochd at about 21:30 on Monday.
Ms Gordon, from the Aviemore area, was driving a white Kia Rio.
The driver of a white Iveco Daily van and his passenger were uninjured.
Sgt David Miller said: “Our thoughts remain with Morven’s family and friends at this very difficult time. Her family has asked that their privacy is respected.
“Our investigation into this crash is continuing and we would reappeal to anyone who witnessed the crash or who was in the area at the time and has information that may assist to contact us, external[1].”
He also urged anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
