A515 Fenny Bentley live updates after crash involving a lorry
Traffic was heavy on the A515 on Tuesday afternoon (June 4) following an accident. Traffic information service Inrix reported that the road between Ashes Lane at Fenny Bentley and the Alstonefield turn-off at Alsop-en-le-Dale was partially blocked,[1] before being fully closed.
The incident is understood to have involved a lorry and essentially the road between Ashbourne and Newhaven was affected for about 10 miles. Drivers were being advised to avoid the area while recovery work takes place.

It is unknown if any other vehicle was involved or if anyone has been injured. The road had fully reopened by around 5.30pm.
