‘Beautiful, quirky daughter’ named as crash victim
The family of a woman who died in a crash in North Yorkshire have described her as “beautiful” and “quirky”.
Elizabeth Cross, 38, from Easingwold, passed away following the collision on 11 June on the A19 near Birdforth.
The driver of the car which struck her Vauxhall Corsa, a woman in her 40s, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and released under investigation.
North Yorkshire Police shared a photograph and a statement from Ms Cross’ family, which read: “Our beautiful, quirky daughter, Lizzie, taken from us far too soon.”
