BMW driver hits 110mph whizzing past police car on M5

A BMW driver was pulled over after speeding past police on the M5[1]. Avon and Somerset Police said the reckless motorist hit a top speed of 110mph.

The driver then dropped down to 85mph before being pulled over by officers. The force have issued a warning and said the offender was reported.

Avon and Somerset Police posted on X: “This #bmw blasted past SC Rich and continued at 110mph on the #m5.

“The driver did slow to 85mph before being pulled over. We may not be everywhere but we’re somewhere! The driver will be reported for #summons.”
