Denbighshire and Conwy speed camera locations for June
Speeding is one of the largest contributing factors to collisions on Welsh roads according to GoSafe – a partnership of authorities including the Welsh Government and emergency services.
Not only is it dangerous but it can land you a fine and three points on your licence.
The minimum penalty for speeding is a £100 fine and three penalty points.
Speed monitoring using mobile cameras takes place up and down the region throughout the year and June will be no different.

GoSafe say vehicles are staffed by fully trained Police staff or Police Officers, who watch the speed of vehicles passing the vans.
If they believe a vehicle is exceeding the speed limit, they use the on-board Speedscope equipment in order to verify and record it as evidence.
All offences are recorded onto digital storage cards and sent to the Central Ticket Office for processing.
Speedscope can be trained on vehicles up to 1,000 metres away, although most work is carried out far closer to the enforcement vehicle.
The time, date, speed, distance, site coding and whether the vehicle is travelling towards or away from the checkpoint is recorded on the image to produce to the offending driver when the penalty is issued.
