Glasgow M8 crash as emergency services rush to scene amid rush hour chaos
Emergency services have rushed to a major crash[1] on the M8 in Glasgow.
The crash happened at around 8am on the busy motorway between Junctions 16 and 17 by Woodside Viaduct. The road is currently restricted.
Police[2] and fire services[3] are both in attendance at the scene. The extent of any injuries is not currently not yet known.
The collision is impacting rush hour traffic with Traffic Scotland confirming drivers are facing delays of up to 15 minutes. Vehicles are currently backed up to Junction 12.
