Live: M5 three-car crash closes lanes and long delays
There is heavy traffic on the M5 following a crash in Somerset this evening (Tuesday, June 18). According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, two lanes are closed on the northbound carriageway.
The crash, which involved three cars, took place shortly after junction 21 for Weston-super-Mare. It was first reported at 7.39pm and delays are now building heading northbound.
Inrix says: “Heavy traffic and two lanes closed due to accident, three cars involved on M5 Northbound after J21 A370 (Weston-super-mare). Lanes one and two (of three) are closed.”
