Live: Nantwich crash leaves road closed ‘in both directions’ with firefighters on scene
Emergency services are currently at the scene of a crash between a car and a truck – with the smash shutting off the stretch. And the collision on Nantwich’s[1] Shrewbridge Road has left one person trapped.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene, near Coole Lane, at around 7.45am this morning to reports of a collision between a truck and a car. Cheshire Police[2] say the car driver has been left trapped and is currently being released by firefighters.
A spokesman for the force said: “The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time. The A530 is currently closed in both directions while emergency services deal with the incident.”
