Main route shut after car and lorry crash

A stretch of a major road has been closed following a crash involving a car and a lorry.

Emergency services are at the scene on the A326 at Totton.

The road has been closed in both directions between the A35 and Fletchwood Road. There is also no access to the A326 from Monkton Lane.

Police say the road is expected to be closed for most of the morning and drivers are being urged to find alternative routes.
