Motorcyclist dies in crash with van on bypass

A man has died after a crash involving a motorbike and van in Worcestershire.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, were called to the A456 Bewdley bypass shortly after17:30 BST on Sunday.

The motorcyclist was in a critical condition and died at the scene of the collision near Heightington Road, Ribbesford, said West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS).

The A456 between Wharton Park Golf Club and Blackstone was closed for about five hours following the crash.
