Northwich man, 31, dies after being hit by lorry on A556 near M6 motorway

A 31-year-old man has been killed on the A556 in Northwich after being hit by a lorry. The man, who was a pedestrian on the road, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the fatal collision, which happened on the stretch of the busy road that goes through Lostock Gralam.

At 12.56am on Tuesday, June 18, a lorry was in collision with a pedestrian as it was travelling toward the M6. The pedestrian, a 31-year-old man from Northwich[1], sadly died at the scene.
