The 20mph sites where mobile speed cameras are focused this month – including new A5 site

The number of fines dished out on 20mph roads in North Wales spiked last month. Enforcement was stepped up in March and the following month 251 speeding fines were issued on 20mph roads.

This spiralled to 636 in May – with 4,286 across the whole of Wales. It shows that road safety chiefs are getting serious about enforcing the new limit.

Go Safe have a camera map and list where the mobile speed cameras will be placed each month.

Here is a list of the 20mph sites for the month of June. It includes a new location on Anglesey[1], on the A5 at Gaerwen.
