Three arrested after woman, 50, suffers serious injuries in crash between Audi A4 and van
A 50-year-old woman suffered serious injuries during a collision in Hartlepool[1].
Cleveland Police[2], who arrested three men in connection with the crash, is appealing for dashcam footage following the smash on Masefield Road.
A force spokesperson said: "The collision between a black Audi A4 and a white Vauxhall Vivaro van occurred at 4.35pm on Sunday, 23 June. The 50-year-old woman, who was a passenger in the Vauxhall Vivaro, was taken to James Cook University Hospital[3].
"Three men, aged 63, 32 and 30, have been arrested in connection with the incident and taken to police custody for questioning." Witnesses and anyone with dashcam or doorbell footage of the collision is asked to call 101, quoting reference SE24117990.
A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "On Sunday our critical care team was activated at 5.09pm to reports of a road traffic collision in Hartlepool. They arrived on scene at 5.21pm and worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient. The patient was taken to hospital by the NEAS road crew, accompanied by our team."
