Woman fighting for life after campervan crash

A woman is fighting for her life after a campervan crashed with a gas tanker over the weekend. Dorset Police were alerted to reports of a serious crash involving a campervan on Sunday, June 2, at 2.46pm^[1].

The crash involved a silver Mazda Bongo camper van and a white DAF gas tanker. Emergency services were called to the scene along the A35 Dorchester Bypass, near the Stinsford Roundabout.

Firefighters cut the driver of the Mazda free, a woman in her 50s. She was immediately transported to hospital for treatment to injuries that were later reported to be life-threatening.
